— Sightseeing Taxi Tour in Kyoto with National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter (English) —
(1) Guide fee + taxi fare = ¥6,500 / 1 hour for 1 group (1〜6 people) *tax included *until December 31st, 2025
※ The fee will be revised on January 1st, 2026. (due to the legal taxi fare revision on August 6th, 2025) Guide fee + taxi fare = ¥7,000 / 1 hour for 1 group (1〜6 people) *tax included *from January 1st, 2026
(2) Please pay in cash (JPY) at the end of the tour (at the end of each tour if it’s a two-day tour or more).
(3) Minimum tour length : 3 hours
(4) Admission fee, toll and parking fees, cost of meals, etc. are not included, so please pay at each spot. (Please prepare cash because temples, shrines, some shops and restaurants don’t accept credit cards.)
(5) Additional fare (1 hour ~) is added if the place of departure or destination is outside of my business district (my business district : Kyoto city and some of its neighboring cities).
* I don’t pick up / drop off my guests in Osaka except some cases (people who have difficulty in walking, lots of luggage etc.). And I don’t guide in Osaka. I ask my guests to come to Kyoto station by train because it is much more cost and time effective.
<Example> ① Pick-up or drop-off in Osaka city / Nara city : 2 hour fare is added to the tour fee. (+ toll for one way : ¥1,900〜¥2,900) ② Pick-up and drop-off in Kyoto, visit Nara city : 1 hour fare is added to the tour fee. (+ toll for round trip : about ¥4,000) ③ Drop-off at Kansai international airport : 4 hour fare is added to the tour fee. (+ toll for one way : about ¥5,000) ※ If we start the tour in Kyoto at 9:00 and end at Kansai international airport at 16:00 (7 hour tour), the total fee is ¥76,500 (7h+4h+toll).
(6) In case a weather warning or other warnings are issued by the Meteorological Agency, or when it is difficult to drive safely for other reasons, the tour could be canceled in order to avoid the accident. In such a case, the deposit is fully refunded if it’s already paid. But I cannot compensate for the losses caused by this cancellation.

If the number of the passengers is 6, only 1 piece of hand luggage for each passenger can be brought in and 2 medium-size suitcases are containable.

(9) Cancellation Policy
In case you cancel the reservation, you are required to pay a certain percentage of the total fare (cancellation charge) as listed below.
* 30% of your total amount will be charged if you cancel from 7 to 2 days prior to your scheduled tour date. * 50% of your total amount will be charged if you cancel 1 day prior to your scheduled tour date. * 100% of your total amount will be charged if you cancel on your scheduled tour date or no show.
